Is Am Are Meaning In Hindi

Is, am और are के हिन्दी अर्थ:

• Is – होता है, होती है, है।
• Am – हूँ।
• Are – होते है, हो।

Uses of Is Am Are Sentences in Hindi

Is, am और are का उपयोग कब किया जाता है:

• मुख्य क्रिया (main verb) के रूप में, जो की simple present tense में होता है।
• सहायक क्रिया (helping verb) के रूप में, जो की present continuous tense में होता है।

Is, am और are का उपयोग किसके साथ किया जाता है:

• Is –  Is का उपयोग एकवचन संज्ञा (noun) और सर्वनाम (pronoun) के साथ किया जाता है, जैसे: he, she, it, name आदि के साथ।
• Am – Am का उपयोग केवल I (मै) के साथ किया जाता है।
• Are – Are का उपयोग बहुवचन संज्ञा (noun) और सर्वनाम (pronoun) के साथ किया जाता है, जैसे: you, we, they, books, fingers आदि।

 

Main verb के रूप में

Is, am और are का उपयोग मुख्य क्रिया (main verb) के रूप में simple present tense में किया जाता है। जिनके कुछ उदाहरण आप नीचे देख सकते है –

Positive sentences

Formula: Subject + is/am/are + object.

1.	I am teacher.	मैं शिक्षक हूं।
2.	You are students.	आप विद्यार्थी हैं।
3.	Books are so heavy.	किताबें बहुत भारी होती हैं।
4.	Hema is beautiful.	हेमा खूबसूरत हैं।
5.	She is a dancer.	वह एक नर्तकी है।

 

Negative sentences

Formula: Subject + is/am/are + not + object.

1.	You are not completely mad.	तुम पूरी तरह से पागल नहीं हो।
2.	I am not bad at English speaking.	मै अंग्रेजी बोलने में बुरा नहीं हूँ।
3.	He is not a singer.	वह गायक नहीं है।
4.	They are not together.	वह साथ नहीं है।
5.	Children are not making noise.	बच्चे शोर नहीं मचा रहे है।

Interrogative sentences

Formula: Is/am/are + subject + object?

1.	Are you a manager?	क्या आप प्रबंधक हैं?
2.	Is he honest?	क्या वह ईमानदार है?
3.	Are they well?	क्या वे ठीक है?
4.	Am I a student?	क्या मैं छात्र हूं?
5.	Is soldier fit?	क्या सिपाही दुरुस्त है?

Negative-interrogative sentences

Formula: Is/am/are + subject + not + object?

1.	Is he not well?	क्या वह ठीक नहीं है?
2.	Are you not a liar?	क्या तुम झूठे नहीं हो?
3.	Are they not Engineers?	क्या वे इंजीनियर नहीं हैं?
4.	Am I not a good speaker?	क्या मै अच्छा वक्ता नहीं हूँ?
5.	Is Mehak not a painter?	क्या महक चित्रकार नहीं है?

Helping verb के रूप में

Is, am और are का उपयोग सहायक क्रिया (helping verb) के रूप में present continuous tense में किया जाता है। जिनके कुछ उदाहरण आप नीचे देख सकते है –

Positive sentences

Formula: Subject + is/am/are + (verb 1^st + ing) + object.

1.	He is doing his work.	वह अपना काम कर रहा है।
2.	It is raining outside.	बाहर बारिश हो रही है।
3.	They are selling vegetables.	वह सब्जियां बैच रहे है।
4.	We are telling the truth.	हम सच कह रहे है।
5.	I am trying my best.	मै अपनी पूरी कोशिश कर रहा हूँ।

Negative sentences

Formula: Subject + is/am/are + not + (verb 1^st + ing) + object.

1.	She is not feeling well.	उसकी तबीयत ठीक नहीं है।
2.	Sachin is not playing cricket.	सचिन क्रिकेट नहीं खेल रहा है।
3.	I am not helping you.	मै आपकी मदद नहीं कर रहा हूँ।
4.	They are not searching for a pen.	वे पैन नहीं ढूंढ रहे है।
5.	Students are not going home.	विद्यार्थी घर नहीं जा रहे है।

Interrogative sentences

Formula: Is/am/are + subject + (verb 1^st + ing) + object?

1.	Are you thinking about her?	क्या तुम उसके बारे में सोच रहे हो?
2.	Are they fighting with each other?	क्या वे एक दूसरे से लड़ रहे है?
3.	Is he hiding something?	क्या वह कुछ छुपा रहा है?
4.	Is the car moving?	क्या कार चल रही है?
5.	Am I doing right?	क्या मै सही कर रहा हूँ?

Negative-interrogative sentences

Formula: Is/am/are + subject + not + (verb 1^st + ing) + object?

1.	Is Ram not cheating in the Exam?	क्या राम परीक्षा में नकल नहीं कर रहा है?
2.	Is it not hurting you?	क्या यह तुम्हें तकलीफ नहीं दे रहा है?
3.	Am I not forcing myself?	क्या मै खुद को मजबूर नहीं कर रहा हूँ?
4.	Are you not feeling happy?	क्या आप खुश नहीं हो रहे है?
5.	Are we not dancing in the class?	क्या हम क्लास में नहीं नाच रहे है?
